About the Business
During the 1990s journalist Daryl Willcox noticed that while he was writing about the use of technology in business, media and public relations professionals weren't using technology effectively to improve the way they communicated. We were writing about the dawn of the internet, yet we were getting swamped by a hundred paper press releases a day and on deadlines often standing by an ancient fax machine waiting for PR statements. It was crazy, Daryl says. DWPub's services have been developed to help public relations and media professionals connect, collaborate and tell stories more effectively.
Today over 2,500 companies invest in the DWPub Media Suite, including 120 of the top 150 UK PR companies. Our customers are people with stories to tell such as PR agencies, departments and freelancers, as well as organisations that may not use professional PR services like small businesses, charities and individuals. These are people who want to get coverage of their stories in the media.
