About the Business
Based in Gloucestershire, Elmhay PR & Media had its infancy in late 2010 when company director Rupert Janisch moved into freelance PR.
A fully qualified journalist, who left a senior position at the Bristol Evening Post to seek more family-friendly employment, Rupert spent 2010 as a commercial bid writer for a firm based in the Forest of Dean. Shortly after the birth of his first child a LinkedIn email to an old PR contact produced the first freelance writing opportunity, out of which Elmhay PR & Media was born.
More than two years on, Elmhay Communications is now a fully-fledged PR and media relations company, based near Stroud and retaining an impressive range of contacts throughout Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire and the whole of the West Country, as well as several close friends and family members working for the national media in London.
