About the Business
A seasoned public relations and investor relations practitioner, with more than 15 years' experience at a senior level, both in-house and in consultancy. He has worked for UK and international companies in a variety of sectors, ranging from FTSE-100 groups to Small-Cap and AIM businesses, as well as not-for-profit organisations. He now runs Langbourn Communications, which was established in 2006. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and of the Institute's Corporate and Financial Group.
Richard is also a member of the Investor Relations Society's Events Committee, and is a former director of the society. He served on its board for five years and was its chairman from 2001-03. Organisations for which he has worked include Amlin, Barnardo's, Brit Insurance, Chaucer, Granada, Guardian Royal Exchange, Inchcape, Independent Energy, Leitz, National Savings, Old Mutual, Philips, Sasol and The Advertising Association.
