About the Business
Robert began his career as a journalist, editing Information World Review and Which PC? and contributing on a freelance basis to the Guardian and Time Out. He moved into PR and in 1995 set up the high-tech specialist agency Banner PR, where clients included Capgemini (claim to fame: Robert twice managed to secure them major stories on the front page of the Financial Times).
In 2001 Robert took on a broader role as Director of Strategy with Banner Corporation, working across EMEA wide accounts that included AT&T, BT Global Services, HP and Nokia. He worked with agency direct marketing, events, media buying and web teams to knit together integrated marketing plans and campaigns.
After Banner's acquisition by WPP, Robert set up RHMCS Ltd in 2007, working out of the home office (warning: my office manager has 4 legs and sometimes barks during conference calls). My modest goal is to do stimulating work with nice people.
